As well as the Combined Authority Board, there are also three committees that are part of the Combined Authority.  


Overview and Scrutiny Committee

The role of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee is to scrutinise decisions by the Combined Authority or the Mayor.

Audit and Governance Committee

The Audit and Governance Committee's role is to review the Combined Authority's financial affairs, internal control, corporate governance arrangements and risk management.

Employment Committee

This committee was formed following September 2017's Combined Authority Board meeting. It includes the Mayor, Deputy Mayors, the portfolio holder for Strategic Planning and two other members of the Board.
