Douglass Cuff, Senior Director, Development, BioMed Realty:
Douglass Cuff joined BioMed Realty in July, 2005, shortly after the company entered into the Cambridge, MA market. Initially, he was responsible for overseeing the entire one million square foot life science real estate portfolio.
Eventually, he moved onto overseeing the completion and operation of the Center for Life Science | Boston, an 18-story, first-class research building with tenants that included Children’s Hospital Boston, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
Doug relocated to Cambridge, UK in 2012 when BioMed Realty acquired the majority of Granta Park. He has been responsible for expanding the company’s portfolio in Cambridge by negotiating pre-lets at Granta Park, as well as forging a partnership with the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council to expand the Babraham Research Campus by constructing two laboratory and office buildings comprising 100,000 square feet. Doug returned to Boston, but maintains responsibility for all leasing, development and acquisitions in the UK and Europe for BioMed Realty.
Doug received a Master of Business Administration from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Fordham University in New York City.
