The EAN is now engaged with more than 2500 secondary schools/colleges across England creating an Enterprise Adviser movement that is helping to ensure every young person has the chance to access those meaningful employer encounters that play such a vital part in helping them decide their future path. The passion and determination of your team and your support have made this possible and we are grateful for your continued partnership.
The publication of the Careers Strategy in December 2017 has raised the level of ambition and prominence of our joint work. There is now an expectation that every mainstream school and FE college will be offered access to the network by 2020, in addition to the creation of twenty Careers Hubs around England and a continuation of the support provided to Opportunity Areas. The strategy also places greater emphasis on the impact created by the Enterprise Adviser Network, and that anticipated from the investments in Careers Hubs and Opportunity Areas. To that end the Department for Education have set specific targets for the network, these targets and progress towards them will be published through Careers & Enterprise Company reporting to the Department and via our website.
