Fenland

Welcome to Fenland

Fenland is the heart of our region’s booming agricultural economy: it is no exaggeration to say that Fenland feeds us all. The rich dark soil of the Fens, which grows superb crops, has led to a thriving industry of processing, packaging and distribution, alongside the historic industrial traditions of skilled manufacturing.

The market towns of Fenland- Wisbech, Chatteris and March- bustle with activity, and we are building on their existing beauty and potential with improved transport access, housing and new skills offers to bring more and more opportunity to the people of the Fens.
