It’s hard to describe my delight this week when I joined some well-spaced colleagues at Rayner’s Green in Fordham at the Topping Out ceremony for the first eight £100k Homes, which are due for completion by the end of this year.
Mayor James Palmer has today (Tuesday 4 August 2020 at 14.00) celebrated the build of the first £100K homes by attending a Topping Out ceremony hosted by Hill developers and partners Scotsdale Garden Centre.
Work is underway to build Cambridgeshire and Peterborough’s first ever £100K Homes.Mayor of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority, James Palmer, who is spearheading the groundbreaking scheme, visited a new housing development in Fordham today (March 3), where the first eight £100K Homes will be completed before the end of 2020.Mayor Palmer met with leading housebuilder Hill at the Rayners Green site, a development of 97 homes in a joint venture partnership between Hill Group and Scotsdales Garden Centre, which will include £100K Homes as part of the housing mix.
People in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough are being urged to show their support for £100K Homes via a new website for the innovative scheme which makes one-bedroom properties available to buy for £100,000.
