A new Business Board chair today takes charge of pushing forward the first ever Local Industrial Strategy – LIS - for Cambridgeshire & Peterborough which was launched last month.

An important milestone has been reached as the 12 key projects that will be the focus of activity throughout 2019/20 at the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority were agreed.
The Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority Board has today (September 26) agreed a bold, innovative and ambitious housing strategy to help tackle the region’s housing needs.
Housing plans which include a cash injection for eleven affordable housing schemes across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough have been approved by the Combined Authority to accelerate the delivery of housing in the area.
