Help shape the future of Micromobility in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough

(Approx. 10 minutes to complete – open until midnight on 4 March 2026)

Your voice can influence how people move around our region. Share your views and help us design better, cleaner, and more accessible travel options for everyone.

About the Survey

The Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority (CPCA) has commissioned TPXImpact and SYSTRA to develop a new Micromobility Strategy for the region. This strategy will be shaped by the unique needs of the CPCA area, which includes:

  • Cambridge
  • East Cambridgeshire
  • Fenland
  • Huntingdonshire
  • Peterborough
  • South Cambridgeshire.

Your feedback will directly inform the draft strategy and help ensure it reflects the priorities of local residents, workers, and visitors.

What Is Micromobility?

Micromobility refers to small, lightweight vehicles designed for short-distance travel, typically operating at lower speeds. These vehicles:

  • Can be human-powered or electric
  • May be shared (e.g., rental schemes) or personally owned
  • Include bicycles, e-bikes, e-scooters, and cargo bikes
  • Do not include cars, vans, mopeds, or motorcycles.

Micromobility plays an increasingly important role in sustainable transport, helping reduce congestion, improve air quality, and offer flexible travel choices.

Why Your Views Matter

We want to understand how people across the CPCA area currently use micromobility and how they’d like to use it in the future. Your insights will help us explore:

  • How you currently use micromobility
  • Your views on existing micromobility options
  • What improvements or changes you’d like to see

You do not need to be a current micromobility user to take part and anyone aged 16 or over is welcome to complete the survey.

The survey takes around 10 minutes and is open until midnight on 4 March 2026.

You’ll also be asked some optional demographic questions (such as age, gender, vehicle ownership, working status, income, ethnicity, and disability). These help us understand how views differ across communities. All responses are anonymous, and you will not be personally identifiable.

For full details on how your data will be used, please refer to the CPCA Privacy Policy.
