The Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority (CPCA) is looking for volunteer members to become part of the Employment and Skills Board (Skills Advisory Panel). We are looking for people with the right skills, abilities and talent to help deliver our vision for the future.
What is the Employment and Skills Board (Skills Advisory Panel)?
The Board will be comprised of business leaders, educational experts, local authority leaders and other government agencies. Your primary role will be to represent the views and interests of private sector businesses within the CPCA area whilst always ensuring that decisions are taken in the best interests of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough business community as a whole.

You will have the opportunity to personally make a tangible difference to your region and sector whilst networking with like-minded people.
What will I do?
You will attend 6 meetings a year with the possibility of meeting with additional sub groups. The tenure will be for a three year initial period with the opportunity to renew. You will steer the Skills Agenda for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and support the implementation of the Local Industrial Strategy and the interventions of the Skills Strategy.
Personal Specification and Key Skills
An experienced person with at least three years working in a senior position with a good standing in the business community and/or education sector. Intelligent, clear thinking individual with a collaborative approach, yet able to influence and make decisions. Representatives are welcome from for profit, not for profit and social enterprises.
