Still time to quiz Paul Bristow at Mayor’s Question Time
Residents still have time to ask the Mayor of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Paul Bristow a question ahead of a Question Time event in Cambridge on June 25.
The event is set to be hosted by Paul Brackley, editor of the Cambridge Independent, and gives members of the public, and local businesses the chance to quiz the Mayor directly and hear about his priorities in his second year of office.
This comes after a successful first Question Time in Peterborough earlier this year.
Questions can be asked on the night or can be sent in advance through an online form, and the deadline for submitting these questions is Monday June 22. The evening will be spilt into two parts, to accommodate for both forms of questioning.
The event will begin at 5:30pm (doors 5pm) at the Council Chamber, The Guildhall, Market Hill, Cambridge, and will last until around 7:30pm, with as many questions as possible being answered within the time frame.
Members of the public are also invited to attend if they do not have a question, but are just interested in hearing the discussions that come from the evening.
Speaking ahead of the session in Cambridge, Paul Bristow said: “There is a lot of focus on Cambridge and its future growth, and the transport, infrastructure and housing investment needed to make it happen. I’m sure there will be plenty to discuss.
“This will be my second Mayor’s Question Time. It’s important to me to get in front of people, hear what’s on their minds, and be asked about my record and priorities so far.”
